STATEMENT

Natural Trails wants its website to be usable by everyone. The site was designed and built from scratch to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1, level AA, and the EN 301 549 standard.

What we have done

• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for every colour pairing in the palette.
• Fully keyboard operable, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
• Correct heading and landmark structure on every page.
• Text alternatives for every informative image. The ESPA co-financing text is published as text, not only as an image.
• Forms with visible labels, marked required fields and error messages announced by screen readers.
• Zoom is never locked and content reflows up to 400%.
• Motion is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• No accessibility “overlay”. Accessibility is part of the code.

Known limitations

Links to third-party services (Google Maps, social networks) lead to content we do not control.
